Jourdan Davis is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration. Davis’s research agenda focuses on the role of fair and equitable government actions and decision-making in citizen-government relations. Her research interests include:

  • behavioral public administration,
  • data storytelling,
  • community-engaged research,
  • dissemination and implementation,
  • social equity,
  • equality and fairness,
  • performance measurement,
  • information literacy,
  • citizen satisfaction,
  • and citizen-government relationships.

Prior to her academic career, she worked for a healthcare research funding institution. She received her Ph.D. in Public Administration and MPP from American University, and her BA in Anthropology from the University of Maryland, College Park
