MPA Concentrations
MPA students have the option to concentrate their studies in several specialized areas:
- Nonprofit Management
- Urban Management & Policy
- Arts Administration
- Emergency Management
- Public Budgeting and Finance

A concentration is not required. If a student wishes to complete the General MPA curriculum they can select five MPAD electives of their choosing (15 hours).
In some cases, a student with a specialized interest area may also wish to discuss with the MPA Director the potential for using their electives to pursue another graduate certificate program on campus, such as the Gerontology Certificate.
