Joanne Carman and Jaclyn Piatak are the new co-editors of the nonprofit journal: Nonprofit and Voluntary (NVS) Quarterly, the official journal of the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA).

Avery Grice, MPA student, received the 2024 Albert & Gladys Coates Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded by the North Carolina City and County Managers Association in honor of Albert and Gladys Coats. The scholarship is awarded to an incoming or first-year student each year for $3000.
