Laura Antanaitis Receives Kline Award

Congratulations alumna Laura Antanaitis who received the Kline Award for Best Student MPA paper this morning at the Southeastern Conference on Public Administration. Laura wrote the paper in her capstone course taught by Dr. Joanne Carman. The paper “Equity in Family and Medical Leave: A Response to COVID-19” was also presented in the panel Paying attention to group outcomes from policy at the conference. Laura currently works as a Strategy & Planning Analyst for the Office of Budget & Strategy at Mecklenburg county.
